Dear all,
I have strange experience, after installing RAM Booster Expert suddenly
Recent Programs List (Most Use) which is above All Programs Icon on Start
Menu suddenly disappear.
Is there any registry value to control that behaviour?

TIA,
Gun

I'd like to apologize for the Microsoft Technical Community as a whole for
the response you received. Please allow me to be a bit more professional:

We, as a community of technically savvy individuals as a whole, would likely
recommend not using such programs to boost performance. In most cases,
programs designed for such a use only cause more problems than they are
indented to help. For instance, if your system is low on memory and runs
slow, adding yet another program to the pile (even if it’s meant to help)
will almost assuredly cause even more slowness. Not to mention that most
products are horribly made, or (in many, many cases) do absolutely nothing to
help the performance other than the placebo effect of a sugarpill.

Having said that, it’s your own call. If you choose to use such software,
it is your choice.
I, personally, would recommend buying more RAM.

Anyway, I would be willing to bet that the problem you describe is actually
one of the many ill-intended “benefits†of the program you installed. Check
it’s options.

Also check to see if “Number of Programs on Start Menu†item in the Taskbar
properties is still set to more than zero. Check here > Taskbar Properties >
Start Menu Tab > Customize Button > Middle of that Dialog.

mfuprograms.reg is the file that you want.

This is the Policy: Remove frequent programs list from the Start Menu
Description: Removes the frequently used programs list from the Start menu.
Registry Value: "NoStartMenuMFUprogramsList"

If you enable this setting, the frequently used programs list is removed
from the Start menu. If you disable this setting or do not configure it, the
frequently used programs list remains on the simple Start menu.
