I'm Not quite sure what you mean but to clear recent documents right
click on the task bar go to the advanced tab and select "Clear" this
will also clear some other things such as your recycle bin.

Hope this helps.

there is no harm in deleting recent documents. if you have things to
hide from others that use your computer (like porn), it is a wise thing
to do. if there are multiple accounts on the computer (many users) and
your folder if private then there is no need to get rid of your recent
documents (incase you need to get back to that pic again :) ).
deleting files in the recent folder does not affect computer function..

The Correct Path is:

[Your Drive]\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Recent.

However, you don't have to do this. You can also clear these recent
documents by:

1. Right-Clicking on Taskbar - choose Properties
2. Click Start Menu
3. If using Classic Start Menu style then click Customize - then click Clear
button
4. If using Start Menu (XP Style) then click Customize - then click Advanced
then click Clear List button. You can also uncheck "List my most recently
opened documents" option, if you donot want Windows to remember recent open
documents ever.

Hope this information is useful to you, let us know!
