Receiving Messages

Depends on your Outlook version. For OL 2003, click
Tools>Send/Receive>Send/Receive Settings>Show Progress.

that's not in there.

There should be a "Show Progress" item in one of the menus, though.

In Outlook 2002 it's Tools-Send/Receive Settings-Show Progress......if
that's any help.

Alas, however, the OP said he was using OL 2000.

I got it, while I was receiving mail I clicked the status bar and then
details and it came up, it all happened so fast I don't really know what I
did.

There are SOME similarities between 2000 and 2002 - I just don't know whar
they are!
