Receiving duplicate e-mails

Why am I receiving duplicate e-mail on all messages received? Thanks for
any idea to correct.
 
Go to 'Tools|Accounts' and make sure you haven't inadvertently set up a
duplicate of your mail account. Any duplicate accounts should be deleted.
