Received files-Saving conversations

In MSN Messenger, there is an option in preference where
I can save files sent to me through MSN Messenger and I
can save all my conversations throughMSN Messenger in my
received files folder. Now I am using Win XP-Windows
Messenger. I see the option to save files but I don't see
where I could save the conversations. DOes Windows
Messenger have this feature or do I have to go back to
MSN Messenger? Thanks.

Thanks.....but Messenger plus has a virus and installed
spy and adware to my computer. If it wasn't for the
programs I have installed, there could have been severe
damage to my computer. I got rid of the junk it came with
and the Messenger Plus.

Greetings,

Unfortunately no, only MSN Messenger 6.x has a built-in logging feature. However, a
third-party addition to Messenger, called Messenger
Plus! (http://www.msgplus.net) adds this

Hi,

During the Messenger Plus! installation you get a choice (regardless whether you choose
Custom or Automatic) whether to install the spyware or not. This option within the installer
is called the "Sponsor Program" and *requires* you to either Accept or refuse to install the
spyware to help the author (Patchou) fund the development of the software.
