We are constantly striving for peak performance of three
citrix metaframe boxes.
We have AT commands scheduling shutdowns, but many time
process will not release and the system will hang and not
shutdown/reboot.

Are their any tools or practices that will help us gently
shut these boxes down on a regular schedule?

shutdown.exe from the resource kit includes a switch to force a
shutdown etc ...
