Rebooting windows XP home edition

I wish to uninstall my windows XP home edition and erase my hard drive on my PC, and then reboot. I don't know how to do this?
 
If you erase your hard drive you won't be able to boot from it. Exactly what
do you want to do? You can remove XP by formatting your hard drive, but you
will have to install some other operating system. Post back with details of
exactly what you are trying to do.
