Rebooting in safe mode

I need to reboot in safe mode with networking... I have consulted the
instructiuon on how to do this but I do not seem to get the screens that I am
suppposed to... I am supposed to get an option on starting is safe mode but
I het a dos looking screnn that asks me for what boot drive I want to boot
in...

What is wrong?? Can someone help??

Simple Instructions..

Turn off computer.
Turn on computer.
From the point you turn on the computer, start tapping the F8 key once every
second.
Tap... Tap... Tap...

This should bring up the Windows XP Startup Menu and doing it once every
second should prevent you from getting the annoying "key stuck" BIOS error.

Apart from the above 2 answers that you got also make sure that your F Lock key is not engaged
