Reapply formating from master

I can reapply a design, but I seem unable to reapply the formating from my
masters. I'm sure this used to work in previous versions.
I'm using 2003 now.

I had to completely reformat a set of slides and had to do line-by-line
because I could 'not' apply the formatting from the master (just the
design). Am I losing it?

Instead of bringing up the design task pane, bring up the layout task pane.
Click the drop down for the layout you are using and select re-apply layout.
Should do what you need!

Select the slides. In layout pane put mouse over first layout. Drop down menu
