Really hide a table in the database window

Hi everyone

I saw on http://www.mvps.org/access/ a list of "Ten Commandments" of Access.
One of them encourages that a user isn't able to see tables or edit data in
them directly. I know that the attributes of a table can be set to hidden
and then Tools>Options>View set to hide objects (and hide system objects),
but it's fairly easy to reverse these settings to see and open a table
directly.

Is there some other more secure way of hiding tables (or, indeed, other
objects) and is there a way of preventing a user going into design mode?

Thanks for your time and patience.

Yes, you need to actually take away the user's access to the tables. Remove
it from their security.

Users (in a secure environment) should only have access to the forms and
reports, not tables or queries.

The forms and reports have to be based on queries that are set to run with
owner permission.

For more details, do some searches. These topics are pretty common.
