Try asking on one of Real's forums. They will probably want to knwo
something about the version and operating system/hardware environemnt too.

Your processor maybe getting pegged. That happens to me with iTunes, but not
with RP. If you have on-board sound, installing a sound card will take some of
the work off the processor.
