Reading Pane doesn't display banner information

Dear Outlook gurus,

We have one of our staff who has the reading pane displayed, but when in the
Inbox view the subject, sender, etc. information that normally appears at the
top of the email is not shown. It appears for other folders such as Sent
Items, deleted items or even folders moved to a PST file.

Any suggestions?

Just above the Reading Pane should be a border that should cause the cursor
to become two horizontal parallel lines with up and down arrows when you
hover over it. Click it and drag it down.
