reading mail and filtering HTML incoming messages

Outlook Express has the option to read all incoming
messages in plain text. Outlook 2002 does not have this
option. Is there a way to add this functionallity. The
rules for the inbox rule manager do not apply to messages
sent in HTML format and I can not filter spam via using
rules. Nobody I communicate with uses HTML in the message
body anyway and I'd love to permanently delete any message
sent to me in HTML format. Do any know how I can achieve
this or if there's a 3'rd party product that addresses
this capability.

You _can_ do it with rules. Filter on: "Content-type: text/html"
in the mail headers.
