Read/write folder access question

I am unable to access a program I just downloaded because I lack read/write
access (apparently). I am an administrator and when I right click on the
folder I do not have the Security Tab appear to ensure I have the correct
permissions on this folder. Any ideas how I can check the security settings
on this program??

XP Home? If yes, you need to go into Safe Mode to get the Security Tab. XP
Pro/Media Center? If yes, uncheck "Simple File Sharing" in Folder
Options>View tab. The file system needs to be NTFS in all cases.

If that doesn't help, contact the program's tech support for help with their
software or post back with the name of the Mystery Program, the exact error
message you are getting (please do not paraphrase), your version of XP, and
anything else that might help us help you.

Thanks very much for your response.....perhaps you can help me with another
question I have.

I am having a bit of trouble with printing information from one of my
program to my wireless printer. Every other program I have prints just fine
to my printer but this one programs documents will not print....it just stays
in my print queue. Any ideas why this would happen?? I have Windows XP Home
Edition with Service Pack 3 and my printer is a HP Office Jet Pro L7680. I
did try hard wiring into the printer and then the documents will print...but
they will not print when I go wireless... :(

Since the wireless function of the printer works fine with all other
programs, you know the issue is specific to that Mystery Program. Contact
the Program's tech support for help with their software.
