Read Receipt

Is there anybody having problems with the read receipt
feature in Microsoft Outlook? It works for users of
Outlook Express (when prompted to send read receipt and
accepting), but not for the ones using Microsoft Outlook
(they get prompted, they accept, but sender who
requested the receipt never get it). The e-mail server
reports an illegal address in envelope. I tested using
Outlook Express and works, but not using Microsoft
Outlook.

I will appreciate any input. Thank you!
 
Funny, but I have exactly the reverse problem. I get prompted, say
no, and it gets sent anyway. That started some time back after an
update. I just delete the message from the out box, but it is
annoying. I wonder if these are somehow related?
