Read Receipt Request Button on Toolbar

When I write a new message, I'd like a button that I could click to ask for a
read receipt. I’m using Outlook 2003 with Word 2003 as my email editor.

I know I can go click the options button and choose it there but I'd like
have it even more accessible. Right clicking on the "send" tool bar does
nothing and it disappears when I select “customize†from a right click on
another toolbar.

Is this toolbar simply un-editable and the command unavailable to put on
another toolbar?
 
try deleting the outcmd.dat file - see if that lets you customize the
toolbar.
 
Thanks, but I still can't add a button. I'd like to add it right next to the
send button so it will be more visible. Any other suggestions?
