Read Receipt is not going

Dear Sir,

My all mails are going perfectly in Microsoft Outlook 2000. But when I read
mails, the read receipt is not going to the sender. Its failing.... Please
give me reply...
 
Is your read receipt sitting in the outbox? Or is the original sender just
not receiving it?
