Read Only Problems

I've copied my databases to a new computer and they now
come upp in Read Only. I cannot fix this through
Properties and am at a loss.

Looking for some help.

Just checking:

1. You have made sure that the file is not marked as "Read-Only"? When you
copy a file from hard-disk to a CD, the file on the CD is marked as
"Read-Only". When you copy from the CD to another hard-disk, the
"Read-Only" flag is carried to the destination hard-disk?

2. Are you using the same version of the Access software which was used to
create the database?

3. Was Access Security implemented on the database in the old computer?
