Has anyone encountered a situation in Word 2007 in which you have been
writing a paper and, when you go to save your work, a pop-up screen says that
your document is in read-only mode, especially when it has always been set as
writable by the system administrator (i.e., me). That has happened to me like
2 times since I've started using this version of word, and both times i had
to close the document and re-open it (without saving anything) to get it to
work again. in both instances, I lost a significant amount of work, and I was
really mad. Is this just a bug or is there something I can do to save my work
even when this happens? If anyone has the answer to this question, I would
appreciate it. Thanx
