Read only files

In our office all computers are connected to a network
but on one of the computers all files are saved as read
only. We are trying to find out why when files are saved
on this computer they can only be accessed as read only
files on other computers on the network. We dont have
this problem on any of the other computers on the network.

Unfortunately, you haven't given us any details about the computer in
question or your network setup. Without any of that information, I can
only suggest that there is obviously something different on that
computer. Operating system? Domain? Workgroup? Server and if so, server
os?
