I had a hard disk crash and had to reformat it due to a loss of my administrative previlages. When I restore my backed up files to the newly formated hard drive, all are marked "read only" and I cannot delete or modify any of the restored files or folders. Is there a way to fix this? Can I globaly shut of the read only feature

Thanks for the help!

usually if your change a folder (right click) to read only or not, it will
ask if you want to change also all the files and folder inside. so, you can
set it at once using only one folder. try first...
