Read only Database

I am working with some potential clients to set up databases for them. They
want a demo to send out to the offices for evaluation, and I have a complete
working example that I have been demoing from my laptop. My concern is that
if I send out a demo someone will reverse engineer it and I'll lose a
potential client. I can't seem to make my database permanently read only and
make sure no can access design view for any portion of it. Anyone else ever
run into this?
