I have an Outlook 2000 user who has a laptop that he travels with while
out of the office. Before he leaves he attaches to the network and
downloads all his new messages that he wants to read and answer on the plane
or in the hotel. When he comes back to the office and reconnects to the
network all of his old e-mails reload to where they were before he left.
None of the changes or deletions take affect from his laptop. All of the
mail goes back to being unread. He gets tons of e-mail so you can see this
might be really aggrevating.
I've done this on my laptop and all the changes take affect as soon as I
reconnect to the network. Nothing reloads to the original state. Is there
a setting in Outlook that is on in mine and off in his?
Thanks,
Ray K.
