reactivation of windows xp?

Upon startup a message pops up which says,"Since windows
was first activated on this computer,the hardware on the
computer has changed significantly.Due to these changes
windows must be reactivated within 3 days." I haven`t
changed any hardware for over a year.Might this be a spoof
or trojan? I am hesitant to do so...

As anyone found a fix yet please I am getting the same since 5th Jun

FOUND THE FIX!!!

RUN Regedit
Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Curren
Version\WPAEVENTS

Double click OOBETIMER and change one of the string values eg Change F
to EE.

Reboot Windows and follow the usual promp for Activating Window
