reactivate XP?

I booted up my pc this morning an got a message saying I made significant
hardware changes to my computer and WindowsXP needs reactivated. I didnt make
any hardware changes to my computer..anyone tell me what could be going on

An error has been discovered in a so called "critical update" from
Microsoft. The update was in fact a spyware of sorts used to identify
ungenuine window installations. At least that is what I think may the
problem you are encountering. Here is a link with a download that might
