re-partition HD w/Win2000 professional

does anyone know how i can repartition my HD? it is 12
gigs, but only 2 on C the rest D. i want to make it 6 and
6.

Hi, SM.

Win2K's Disk Management can create and delete partitions, but it can't
resize them or combine them. So, you really have only two choices:

1. Invest your time: backup; repartition; reformat; restore, or

2. Invest your money: Partition Magic (about $70) or a similar third-party
solution.

Can you affor losing your data or not?

If you can, then re do the whole drive.

If not, then use Partition Magic software, should work.

If your disk is a "dynamic" disk, Partition Magic will not
do anything for it.
