I have a Windows 2000 workstation which is logged on to the domain. One
user, who is leaving our group has his sign-on set up such that the machine
does not require him to re-signon after a period of inactivity. Other user's
who log on are required to re-log on after a period of time.

I have administrator rights to the local machine.

I'm thinking that this might be a policy. Is this something I can change?
Where do I go to change this?

Thanks

try control panel, display properties, screen saver tab and then the power
button. Click on the advanced tab and select "Prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby"
