Re-Linking ODBC Tables

This question relates to my question on Background processing.
Why do I need to relink the tables?
When I log to the Access DB and trying to open one of the linked tables
access asks me to log to the ODBC Server. After supplying ID and Password, it
takes me a moment to get to the table. And after that I do not need to login
again to get to other tables.
If I am using VBA, I need to relink each table separately. Why I cannot just
login onto the ODBC server and then access all linked tables as I need them.
This looks much easier way to work. The only problem, I do not know how to do
it.
Are there ways to do it?

perhaps you need to save password, when you relink manually. to relink all
tables by code - look at:
