What is the trick here?
I type: ipconfig /flushdns
and the OS reports that the dns resolver cache is successfully
flushed, but when I enter the command: ipconfig /displaydns
the cache still contains lots of entries.

Question: How do I empty the local dns resolver cache?

Environment: winXPpro
DNS is running on a remote machine

thanks
-Tom

No problem.

Did you find your HOSTS files infiltrated with entries too?
