Iam gonna re-install Windows XP but on the select partiton it says something
like Windows does not reccomend installing 2 versions of windows on the same
partiton. Is there a way so I can just have 1 version but still re-install XP?

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)

Others gave you helpful links. To answer your specific question, you must
first delete all partitions other than unpartitioned space.

The setup doesnt allow me to delete the C: Partition becuase it contains
temporary setup files that are requried to complete installation. Also, my
unpartitoned space only has 8mb. Is there a way to increase that?

It sounds like you're trying to format the drive containing the
system volume from within WinXP. You can't. This would be the computer
equivalent of sawing off the tree limb you're sitting on, and WinXP is
"too smart" to allow this.

You need to boot from the CD and run the setup from there. Then it will let
you delete the partitions.

And you don't want to increase unpartitioned space. That's unusable space.

As for the 8mb, XP sets that aside. Just ignore it.

So should I just install xp on the C partition?
