To remove spyware once and for all I was told to reinstall
windows, this I did. When I did this though I found that
some of my hard disk space was unaccountably taken up. I
discovered that in the "documents and settings" folder it
still had a folder for my old account before I reinstalled
windows. I can't delete this folder, or remove it with the
message that I do not have accesss to it. I know that the
files are still in there because defragmanting shows that
they are there but otherwise they do not appear on my
computer, or in the registry. Help please, 7gb of hard
disk space is going to waste

Tomi, did you do a Repair Install or a New Install? I would go to
MyComputer>select your c: drive rt click
and choose Properties>Disk Cleanup>More Options Tab>System
Restore-Cleanup Say Yes to all.
See if you get some hard drive space back. Also, look for two Windows
Folders such as Win1 and Win2.
