re cant get microsoft word or works to run

recently wiped computer and installed virus software but
cannot get my microsoft word for windows to work.it keeps
saying enter password but i haven`rt got one!! did i
install right programme i got windows xp and packard bell
computer reply to my email thanx

Microsoft Word has never been included with Windows. You should have the Cd
Media for Microsoft Word with the Product Key listed on it.

Did you reinstall Word after you wiped the computer and reinstalled XP. If
yes, did you reinstall it into the user account from which you were trying
to use that application.
