RD no longer working after replacing DSL router

We recently replaced our DSL router. It is a 2Wire 2701HG-B. I can no
longer connect via Remote Desktop to my computer at work from my laptop. I
can connect fine with the other two computers in our household, both desktop
computers.

I've disabled Windows Firewall and placed my computer in DMZplus mode, which
basically means all ports open. I still cannot connect via RD to my work
computer.

I don't see any errors related to this in Event Viewer.

If anyone needs any additional information, please let me know what you
need.

I have found times when I could not use remote desktop either. I switched to
a service called logmein at logmein.com they have free services and if you
need file sharing or chat with the person on the othre end then there is a
charge. Been using this over a year at several offices at work and it works
great. I can simply log into my computers at work and walk employees through
problems as well as fix them my self. You can even remote boot.

Check it out. Won't cost anything and you only need to give a email address
to set up an account. The great thing is since the computer you are
accessing has a small program installed you never have to worry about
putting your router in the DMZ. Just let logmein work through the firewall.

Any error message at all? What is the exact symptom? Is it a possible MTU
issue? This link from Bob Lin's site may help...

The message just says "Could not connect to remote computer" or something
like that. I'm not at home right now, so I can't tell you the exact message
but there is not much more info than that.

Here in the office, I can connect via RD to that same machine just fine from
my laptop. Both desktop computers at home connect just fine and are using
the same DSL router. The only difference is they are connected via ethernet
and the laptop is using WiFi.
