RCP error

i have just linked my laptop upto the internet and for some reason i could
be browsing the net for about 30minutes until an error message appear saying
that the Remote Call Procedure has shutdown unexpectedly, is there anyway to
rectify this problem and what causes it?

The problem is that you connected to the internet with an unpatched computer
without proper (or any) antivirus protection. It has been demonstrated that
a computer in that condition can be infected with a virus in 30 seconds, let
alone 30 minutes.
 
You need to look in your event viewer to see if there is a error associated
with the error it is under administrator tools
