RC1 vs pre-release RC1

What is the difference between these 2 products? feature wide

AFAIK...There are no major feature differences. Pre-RC1 was put out there to
be tested for upgrade compatibility and also "showstopper" bugs that would
cause the release team to have to delay the release of RC1.
