RAW PARTITION filesystem HELP!!!!

Suk Bedi

HI there,
I am open to suggesstions from anyone who can help me
with a problem I am having with my harddrive.
I have a 30 Gig Harddrive partitioned into 2. For some
reason the second partition has suddenly converted to RAW
filesystem. It may have been caused by the Blast virus.
The first partition is fine but when I try to access the
second it says this drive is not formatted, would u like
to format it now. I have to get my files off the drive
before I can do that. Is there any alternatives to
getting my files. Can I make it so Windows XP recognises
Raw Filesystems or is there a Operating system that
already does.
I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance
SUK

Try opening cmd prompt, type:DiskPart, then list disks,
If its listed,EXIT,then type:Convert C: /FS:ntfs
C: being the hd,ntfs the file system.
To reformat in cmd,type:FORMAT C: /?
