I have a Rating index score 4.2 in Vista Build 5600 RC1.


Is that good or bad ??

Higher the better.

On the "average" system I installed Vista, its a 4. (mainly cos my Processor
is only 2.8Ghz i think)

4.2 is very good lol.

I am on a rating of 2.2, with my laptop and everything just flies around! I
do have 1.5 gigs of ram, 64mb graphics, but it is really stable and nice.

If you investigate you will find out that the a index rating of 4 is for
acomputer capable of use and play well any program, and acomputer with a
rating of 1 is not capable of doing it well. The problem is that if there is
not driver for the video adapter the machine will be rated in that portion
of the at the lowest rating posible, and low rate will be the rating index
of that machine. and it will be 1 or something very close to it.Anyway my
rating is 5.8

It's not a 10, but then again it's not a 0 either.

From what Ive read on MS sites the rating scale is 1-5 so I would think 4.2
is very good.

There are numbers coming out higher than 5.
