Rate Function

Getting #Num1 error for the rate function for 200000-PV -41067-PMT, and
20-years the rate is 20% . Excel is not calculating

It is probably a convergence issue in solving the equation documented in Help
for the PV function. However, since the function is monotonic, it is not
clear why convergence should be a problem. You can use Solver to solve for
the rate that will make the PMT function equal to your specified payment.
The compounded interest rate is in the vicinity of 20% per payment period.

The topic of this newsgroup is things that cause Excel to crash (which this
doesn't). You would have received an almost immediate reply in a more
mainstream newsgroup.
