Hi,

My Question is: Is it okay to have your RAS as a DC, and if not what are
the vulnerabilities?

Best regards

Sam

It is suggested to have RRAS away from a DC. DC will be used by many other
Apps. Hence have it on a different machine.
But it is fine to have RRAS and DC on a same machine otherwise.

If you RRAS and DC on a different machine, you need to use the RADIUS server
to authenticate the users connecting to the VPN Server.

Even if you have RRAS and DC on different machines, if you go for Windows
Authentication and provide domain credentials, your clients can still
connect to the VPN server.

Thanks,
Priya.
