RAS is broken - please help!

My RAS server (NAT) is not routing. Here is what happens:

I go into RRAS (Admin tool)
Open RRAS plug-in
My server comes up with a red "X"
Right-click/Properties
Get error message "You do not have permission to view
properties"

I stop the service, then delete the server from the list,
then reboot, and when i check again, it is there again
with the red "X".

I am running Win2K-SP4.

Make sure the remote registry service is running. You cannot run the
RRAS console to configure your server without the remote registry service,
even if both the console and RRAS are running on the same machine.

Now... (slightly off-topic, but) would this remote
registry issue cause errors with DFS as well?
