ranking

I have an Access db that I use to keep track of test
scores. My question is this: Can I use access to figure
out the ranking of a person based on his score in
relation to the scores of other people? Would I be better
off to use Excel for this? Any help would be appreciated.

I remember doing this for our Syllabus software. Let me dig it up.
as far as access or Excel
Access is more "these are the facts". Excel is more " what if we change this
what would happen".
Both would work, both would approach it differently.
my question is do you plan to expand the data you put in.
if so then maybe store in Access with An Excel front end for what ifs.

Where you already have things established in Access, use Access. Let Score
be one of your fields and sort descending.
