I have a spreadsheet as follows:

Player Games Points Won Lost AVERAGE

aaa 9 45 5 4 5.00
bbb 12 36 6 6 3.00
ccc 9 54 5 4 6.00
ddd 15 95 10 5 6.33

HOW CAN I ARRANGE THE ROWS SO THAT THE PLAYERS ARE LISTED
FROM BEST TO WORSE ACCORDING TO average??

have you tried data....sort...column e (i think) descending

Before you follow Duane's suggestion, make sure that *you* select the
*entire* range that has to be sorted.
*Don't* allow XL to pick the range for you by clicking on any of the auto
sort icons on the toolbar.
