Range Name C

I am using Data/Validation/List to display a list based on what i
entered in another cell. using the formula: INDIRECT({Cel
Reference}). My problem is one of my needed Named Ranges should be "C
but whenever I try to use it I get an error message.

Any Ideas how to fix this
 
Excel probably is getting confused with cell references. Use a different
name, differentiating form cell addresses.

"C" and "R" are not valid names because they would get confused with L1C1
notation
