Random Unique Numbering

I am trying to create a "Work Order" template that would have a rando
unique number in a give cell and each time it is opened and saved i
would keep that number even if opened and revised a second time.

I was given a formula that seemed to work but the numbe would chang
each time you tabbed through the form.

PLEASE HELP

a fixed unique random number coould only be achieved with a macro. Is
this a feasible solution for you?
