Random sounds

My computer (Dell WXP) will randomly produce strange sounds. Sound like a
computer generated machine gun. It will last for a second and change pitch
the next time it occurs. No pattern to it. Anyone have a clue?

Can you help me? My pc beeps like a car alarm indepently of my speaker's.

This sound come's out from my tower (not from my speakers) when i close my
pc and open it back again. Sometimes it will beep when i play a game or just
simply while moving my mouse...Starting to get on my nerve's...Help!
