Almost on a daily basis, my new DELL GX270 Optiplex system
running W2000 on a network, reboots from a bugcheck.

The message comes along with Save Dump in Event Viewer.
The last one was:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x00000024 (0x0019025e, 0xb731e674, 0xb731e2cc,
0xbfeb5283). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was
saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini112803-01.dmp.

My support people are stumped. Any ideas about how to
find out what is going on here? This can happen any time
of day, and both when there is lots of computing going on,
and when I am away from the machine.

Thanks,

Joe

Bugcheck 24 has to do with NTFS.

One possible cause of this bug check is disk corruption. Corruption in the
NTFS file system or bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk can induce this
error. Corrupted SCSI and IDE drivers can also adversely affect the system's
ability to read and write to disk, thus causing the error.

You may wish to open a support incident with Microsoft and submit your
memory dump for analysis.
