We are a small multi-user workgroup, using an Access 2003 database which
resides in a folder that all users have read/write access to. The database
attributes are NOT set to read-only.
At random moments of the day when you open the database it opens with the
error message "Database is read-only..." I go to check the attributes in
Explorer and the "read-only" attribute is still NOT checked. Sometimes I
close the database, re-boot, and the database is not longer read-only.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? It is killing us! Thanks!!!
