I recently tried to upgrade my ram on my computer. The computer I bought has 2 256 sticks of DDR ram. I tried to upgrade to 2 sticks of 512MB of DDR ram but there is a problem

The bios recognizes the sticks and I am able to load Windows Xp home edition in safe mode but in regular mode the the computer hangs on the welcome screen. What is the problem? Why won't Windows start? help please

This suggests a driver problem. Try downloading the lates drivers for
your hardware from the manufacturer's web page.

You have to leave the programs running for several hours.
