Im not sure if this is the correct place to post but I have a question
concerning my motherboard

I am contemplating adding an extra 256MB DDR RAM to my MSI MS-6533
Motherboard. According to the manual I can only add:
DDR200MHz/PC1600 or DDR266/PC2100 modules.

Unfortunately, my local pc supplier has only got 333MHz modules, and as it
is for a cheaper price than I can find online I was wondering whether the
Module would just work at 266MHz or whether it wouldn't work at all.
What will happen if I place it in my motherboard?

Your help is greatly appreciated

That number is a rating of the MAXIMUM rate at which the memory will work.
It will work fine at all lower rates and may even be more reliable than the
memory marked for 266 MHz. You'll be fine using the 333MHz modules.
