How do I find out what kind of ram chip(s) are installed
on my computer?
 
Go here --> http://tallysystems.com/ and choose the free
inventory. Other then that, you will need to contact the
builder of your system or, if you know what motherboard
you have, you can visit that website and ask them if you
can not find your board on their site.

You can get fairly detailed info about your RAM modules with the free tools
at:

http://www.aida32.hu Aida32

The demo Talley program referred to by another didn't give me any more than
the size of the RAM.
